Adidas Sessions 2 Saturday Standouts

On team that I wanted to watched was Trae Young 17U team on Court 1 but guess I did not reserve my seat cause there was nowhere to stand nor sit at game time. Listed are players that I enjoyed watching Saturday some I have never seen before. <strong>This is event coverage these are not full evaluations </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many are among the top players in the Nation so I am not saying anything new but showing respect for their game. I have followers that may not know who they are. Good luck on the summer ladies. PG that did not mind mixing it up at all inside the paint.   A excellent shooter that drained several 3's which opened up driving lanes  later on.  High IQ on offense giving what the defense gave her.  Great understanding of reading second level defense with the drive and kick game.   Scrappy on defense that will get in your and did not need an outlet to start the break.  Aggressive finisher on the drives absorbing the contact for the finish.  Ranked among the top players in Oklahoma with D1 bring ball down then get open off screens.  High iQ on ball screens doing a excellent job on reading the defense.  The size makes her a excellent combo guard Receiving D1 size for a combo guard.  A PG that at times back her girl down to the block and put a sweet turnaround jumper move for a bucket.  Strong mid range game is the time I enjoyed watching.  Most players try to get all the way to the rim on a drive.  Janiyah has the capability to get as deep as she can then pull up on a dime for the pull up.  I have always been amazed on the lift she gets on her pull could be the best PG  in the 2028 class.  A very impressive player that scored in many ways.  A very tough match up for the team as she can shoot the 3 or blow by her defender getting to the rim.  Excellent vision in the passing game and well as hitting the open gaps against the defense.  Look down on the press made it very difficult for the other team to get across half court.  I enjoyed watching play as she just looked like she was having fun playing basketball.  A complete PG skirl set that has D1 for the early post up.  Gave her defender a very sweet up and under move on the post for the easy basket.  Fierce rebounder on both ends of the floor making her a double double every time she hits the court.  First time seeing this young lady play but got me doing some research.  Enjoyed watching her work did not need an outlet to start the break.  Nice footwork on defense allowed to slide around the post for a steal.  Aggressive driver to the rim that uses her physical size to imitate the contact first then drive through the defender for the basket  The size and skill set she possess will make her a 2025 to keep an eye defense causing deflections that lead to turnovers.  Moves well without the ball having hands ready for the drop and finish.  Again first time watching her play so no highlights to go off of for offense but her 100% all in effort could not go handles that does an excellent job in reading the defense on the two man game.  Nice footwork off the dribble into a rhythm shot  A deep 3 shooter that also showed little bounce off the dribble with a step back jumper  First time seeing play and enjoy the fundamentals in which she plays
