An in-state offer also found its way to Seegars this past week. The SC Future 17U prospect would secure an offer from Erskine. There are plenty of reasons why Flying Fleet coach Lisa Jackson would want Seegars in an Erskine uniform following the conclusion of the 2026-27 season. She played in 22 of 27 games last season for a 4A Camden team that finished with a record of 23-4 and advanced to the Upper State semifinals. Seegars would average 5.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest in 2025-26. She was the only player from the class of 2028 on last season’s Bulldogs assembling.

Seegars and her SC Future 17U bunch made the westbound trek to Georgia for this past weekend’s Live At Lakepoint event. Her team departed from the Peach State having gone 3-1. Seegars’ consistency was a major reason for SC Future 17U’s successful weekend in northwest Georgia. In her team’s first game against Florida Nation E32, she contributed 11 points, nine steals and five rebounds. On Saturday, she put together a nine-point, six-rebound, three-steal performance against FGB South Florida. Seegars then followed it up with an 11-point, eight-rebound, three-assist, two-block showing against FBC Havoc. Seegars played in 22 games this past season for a 4A Camden team that finished with a 23-4 record and an Upper State semifinal appearance.

Known as Lanii this is a small forward with a ton of upside. She has great length on the perimeter and continues to improve her guard skills. She is moving from inside the paint to the small forward position and the transition has been great for her. As she continues to get stronger and gain /more confidence she can become a real force in all aspects of the game.

So far, Seegars put together her best game of the season recently when Camden visited 5A Division 2 Chapin. The Bulldogs got the better of the all-Midlands matchup in a 69-46 victory and Seegars scored 11 points in the victory. Seegars may stand at near six feet but primarily operates as a guard. It can be argued that fewer teams made a bigger statement at this year’s She Got Next Thanksgiving Classic than Camden did by virtue of its wins over two defending state champions in Blythewood (5A Division 1) and North Augusta (4A). Seegars has a chance coming up to help her team to victory against another tough opponent – defending 3A Lower State champion Dillon on Dec. 3.
