NCISAA Team Camp: 2025 Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>NCISAA hosted their team camp this weekend at Wesleyan Christian.  I was able to catch some games on the second day of the event, so let's dive right in to the rising senior guards from the event that were noteworthy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block her range shooting the ball, and she was creating space herself to knock down the shot.  She uses screens well knowing how to move off of them to get the open look.  She hustled back on defense showing off her ability to block some shots on fast breaks protecting the basket.  To further show how she cnan do it all, she crashes the boards coming up with rebounds on both ends, and she can court getting inside for rebounds and handling the ball up the court.  She fought hard for offensive boards using them for second chance points.  Her quick close out was an asset on defense being able to get her hands in the face of her opponents preventing them from getting a clean shot.  She was hustling after every loose ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- down her shot easily around the perimeter throughout the game.  She pulled up quickly not giving her defender time to react and close out.  She's quick with the ball handling it well through contact her range shooting the ball getting some points for her team.  She attacks the basket well getting to the rim with ease rolling the ball off her fingertips.  She was doing a nice job hitting her teammates in stride as they flashed up the court on fast breaks.  She runs the floor well pushing the ball up the court herself or being ready for the pass in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> shot from deep stopping the momentum of her opponents, and she can attack the basket weaving in and out of her opponents.  She uses shot fakes to get the ball into her teammates with an entry pass, play pushing the tempo getting the ball up the court and stopping on a dime to hit the transition jumper.  She has a nice shot from deep being able to pull up quickly off the pass to knock it down.  You can see how athletic she is with the way she jumps in front of passes and deflects the ball being a nuisance on defense.  Her on ball defense is tough stripping it away from her opponents and her range shooting the ball hitting them consistently throughout the weekend.  She does a nice job directing her teammates where to go, and she can find the open lane herself getting to the basket.
