It feels like I simply blinked, and somehow the Class of 2025 is ready to enter its final year of high school. After a quick three years, these rising Seniors are entering the home stretch of their recruiting, and by the time we reach the September rankings update, I'd anticipate a number of additional commitments to come our way for this group. Below are a "FAST FIVE" look at some quick notes on the center group in 2025, followed by the positional rankings for the ladies located in our new Top-100 overall for 2025.

- In a half-court game, there might not be anyone more dominant in the Midwest right now than [player_tooltip player_id='295789' first='Avery' last='Gordon']. The Purdue University commit just carves out her spot, raises her hand, catches, turns, and finishes over/through defenders with consistency. She has done a really nice job over the years of developing her footwork, while also keeping the ball high, and understanding touch and distances from the rim. As she strengthens her core at the next level, watch out!

- I remember watching [player_tooltip player_id='295793' first='Jamaya' last='Thomas'] play on her big sister's team (2023) when she was younger. Jamaya was already strong, physical, and played with a motor. She still understands how to use her strength, but now she has much better hands and footwork, and she is a more consistent scorer. I would like to see her defend a little better out on the floor, but she is a tough matchup for most people. She recently committed to Northern Kentucky University.

- Another 2025 prospect who has come a long way since middle school is [player_tooltip player_id='295791' first='Kaelyse' last='Mitchell']. Just her improvement as far as running the floor, establishing position, and catching/finishing has been tremendous. Add to that her great size and strength, and she will get college opportunities. As long as she continues to work at developing her skillset and understanding of the game, plus her endurance, she could become a real problem.

- While she has played a reserve role in the past, I have a feeling Center Grove will use [player_tooltip player_id='692242' first='Emerson' last='Vlcan'] quite a bit this upcoming season. She is incredibly long and wiry, she has gotten stronger, but it's her ability to use her speed and bounce that stand out. She changes ends of the floor quickly, she can defend forwards and posts, plus she has shown some touch facing the basket in the mid-post. And she should only continue to grow her game.

- Andrean has a really nice "sleeper" in 6-1 [player_tooltip player_id='626935' first='Maddie' last='Walton']. She has an athletic frame, strength, length, and she moves well in most directions. She was more of a rebounder/defender early in her career, but this past season she was much more skilled and more aggressive offensively. I think she can be a double-double kid for the 59ers as a Senior, especially if she gets more post touches and isn't reliant strictly upon offensive rebounds or dump-off passes.
