Baylor is a guard who competes hard and produces in all areas for Goodrich to help the team succeed on the court. At Northwood Team Camp, she outworked her opponent for an offensive board to score a floater through a foul. She drilled a corner 3 and scored a smooth scoop layup in transition. Baylor stole the ball away on the defensive end and beat everyone off the dribble to score a full-court layup. I made multiple remarks in my notes about Baylor working hard for rebounds and her physical strength is a noticeable advantage for her on the court.

Lucy Rafferty
Lucy Rafferty
Lucy Rafferty a Goodrich guard who did everything to help her team compete at Northwood Team Camp. She made an extra pass to create a wide-open 3 for her teammate and split defenders off the dribble to score a contested left layup. Lucy hustles on both sides of the court and throws strong skip passes on offense. She attacks downhill and has the ball-handling control to change directions under pressure.
Ella was dialed in from deep for Goodrich at Northwood Team Camp and produced points for the Martians all day. She drilled many 3s from the wings and corners, finishing many layups off two inside. Ella did a great job of mixing up her game by attacking off the dribble. One of her best drives happened when she caught a pass in the corner, paused briefly to freeze her defender, then drove baseline to score off two at the rim.
Colbie had a great Grassroots season and built on that success Saturday with Morenci at Northwood Team Camp. She plays well inside with her back to the basket. Colbie backed down a 6-foot defender with pound dribbles then used a drop step to score off two feet in the paint. She flew by defenders from the wing to crash the boards for an offensive rebound put back and finished multiple transition layups off two feet going full speed in transition. Colbie battled to front the low post on defense and is one of the most determined rebounders you will watch on the court.

Emersyn is a prospect who stood out at tournaments during the Grassroots season and she had a good day for Morenci at Northwood Team Camp. Emersyn pushed the ball full court and drove right through a defender to score the layup. She hit free throws, scored offensive rebound putbacks, blocked shots, and finished off two in the paint.

Lilly was a lights-out shooter for Beal City at Northwood Team Camp. She started the game by scoring a full-speed layup off the opening tip and then went off from deep in the first half. Lilly drilled three triples from the wings then dropped another bomb from up top. She blocked a shot on defense and caught my attention with her game-breaking offensive performance.

Lydee Salsbury
Lydee Salsbury
Lydee Salsbury was an impact player in the paint for Beal City at Northwood Team Camp. She combined crossover dribbles and a drop step to score off two and knocked down a free throw. Lydee converted a difficult fadeaway jumper off the glass, scored a high-rip floater, pro-hop contested layup, and beat her defender off the bounce to score another layup. Lydee is a throwback with how well she uses the glass on offense and put herself on our radar with a great performance on Saturday.

Avery Silvas
Avery Silvas
Avery Silvas is a point guard from Charlotte who caught my attention with her effort, hustle, and determination on both ends of the court at Northwood Team Camp. She competed with a high motor and used tight crossovers to create space off the dribble and run the offense. Avery brought defenders to her and kicked the ball out to open teammates, she demonstrated vocal leadership by directing others on offense. Avery drilled a corner 3, beat her defender to score a mid-floater off the dribble twice from the corner, and hit a deep pull-up jumper off the bounce. She made a great left-handed entry pass into the low post and created steals. Her most impressive moment happened when she turned the ball over and then chased down the breakaway drive to get in front and strip the ball away without fouling.
