U of M Team Camp: Victors Valiant Pt 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) hosted a high school team camp on Friday, June 28th and many great teams competed on the court. There was a sudden death finish, buzzer beater, and teams from across the state/out of state. She crashed the boards to score an offensive rebound and-one, buried a wing 3, and added a corner 3. Sam blocked a shot, caused deflections, and stole the ball on defense. She showed her determination on defense by recovering to block a shot, creating multiple steals, and stripping the ball away on a drive. Lizzy used a fancy euro step move to score an and-one on her drive and demonstrated good ball-handling control. She effectively attacked downhill on drives and kicked the ball out to shooters for assists. Addy was one of the most determined competitors in the gym Friday and led her team on the court. She drove hard to the rim and scored many finishes off two in the paint. Addy worked hard to secure offensive rebounds and hit the deck to battle for 50/50 balls. I had in my notes that she "gets to the free throw line a lot" and Addy converted her shots from the charity stripe at a high percentage. Her length and soft touch around the basket helped her team compete and she was a very efficient finisher in contested situations. Allie scored many times off two inside and knocked down a mid-range jumper. She competes hard on the defensive end and makes smart decisions with the basketball. Jordan used a great spin dribble on her drive then dished an assist to a teammate. She stared at the rim when she caught passes on the perimeter to bring the help defense to her and blocked a shot in the paint.
