Throughout the Spring and Summer AAU season, I was on the road for 16 weekend, traveling all around the country covering AAU basketball for both mens and women's basketball. During this time, I had the opportunity to see a lot of talented prospects, across a bunch of different platforms. In this article I highlight five more individuals that really stood out to me while I was covering the action.

Halfway through this AAU season, Londyn Hollins of Midwest Elite EYBL 15U out of Chicago tore her ACL, ending her AAU year but she should be back during the high school season at Wisconsin Lutheran. I would of said prior to this happening that Hollins would be a no doubt Varsity starter for her incoming team but with this injury, she should ease into it and maybe get some JV/Sophomore minutes under her belt to start her season, eventually working up to that Varsity level by the time State Playoffs roll around. Hollins play-style would be described as shifty but efficient. She has shown a ton of promise up until this point so as long as she continues to progress, she is going to end high school with a bunch of offers to compete at the next level.

The best natural PG that I've seen out of the 2026 Class this AAU season is Shania James of Example Sports 17U GUAA. James has the nickname "The One" and if you've seen her compete, you understand why. James just has the natural skill set that every high level collegiate coach loves to see. She can set things up in the half court and run an offense or she can run in transition with a smooth style of play, being a lethal scorer in every situation you can think of. Defensively, she doesn't take any plays off and works just as hard as she does on offense, which is promising to see. James sits with a ton of Power 5 D1 offers at this point so she will have the choice of where she wants to go at the end of the day. Something you love to see for someone that has put in a lot of hard-work and dedication to this sport throughout her lifetime.

[player_tooltip player_id='764451' first='Macey' last='O'Brien'] might be the biggest "sleeper" recruit that is competing in Iowa at the moment. O'Brien's skill set with the ball in her hands is better than most her age and she pairs that with some solid size at 5'9-5'10. For the [program_tooltip program_id='715891' first='Iowa' last='Ball Stars'] this AAU season, O'Brien showed out in almost every contest she competed in. Which is impressive considering she played up at the 17U level for a majority of her season. I think that there are a lot of questions to still be answered about where she could take things in her future but as of now, she has a ton of promise and that is only going to grow with the more experience she receives over time.

I don't think I've ever spoken to anyone that doesn't absolutely love Aubrey Galvan's play-style on the floor. Galvan is a crafty play maker with her ability to change speed and direction in the blink of an eye. Offensively, she can knock down shots at high rate or she can take her defender off the dribble and finishing at the bucket in a plethora of different ways. When it comes to defense, she is someone that can stick in front of her opponent at a high rate. Off the ball she understands her assignment and she is quick to recover if she does ever get beat going toward the basket. Galvan has to have about 25+ D1 offers at this moment moving into her Senior season at Loyola Academy. Wherever she ends up going, she should see the floor almost immediately with her ability but we will just have to see how it all plays out.

I've always been a fan of [player_tooltip player_id='502100' first='Macy' last='Comito'] and how she competes on the floor but this AAU season, she took it to a whole other level in my opinion. Comito is going to be very busy this Fall with how many college visits she will be taking around the country from prestigious programs that have either already offered her or are looking to offer her. This past six months with her AIA 16U EYBL team, she has solidified her spot as the #3 prospect out of the 2026 Class in Iowa. She is too complete as a player and she makes the others around her better every single contest. That's something that is noteworthy to anyone spectating.
