Now that the Spring & Summer grassroots season is in the past, and student-athletes are returning to their regular school schedules, I wanted to take the time to highlight a handful of 2026 prospects who I feel are still under-recruited and offer a great deal of value for the next level. The following prospects can all be found on the watch list in 2026 on PGH Indiana.

There aren't a lot of colleges familiar with Jillian, because she has only played a handful of grassroots games as a fill-in the last couple of years. She is athletic, she has a strong frame, some length, plus bounce in her step. She has the versatility to defend '3s' and undersized '4s', plus she is all motor and will battle from beginning to end. While she is highly effective scoring it for Delta inside of the arc, I think being consistently comfortable around the perimeter will help her in terms of her college recruiting. Look for her to take that next step this coming season.

Olivia is another prospect who isn't big into the grassroots scene, but she has been electric at times for Chatard during the Winters. She has tremendous length, developing, wiry strength, and she can play a variety of roles. She can act as a point forward and create/facilitate, she can knock down an open rhythm jumper, but she's probably best gliding to the basket and putting pressure on opposing defenses. As for her own defense, she has the length and athletic ability to cause problems on the ball or in trapping situations.

Carly is one of my favorite point guards to watch in the 2026 class because she just "gets it". She is tough, hard-working, and will do whatever she can to help her team win. She is a coach on the floor, she sees things well in advance, and she is an effective communicator with teammates and coaches. She is a strong, compact player who does a nice job of taking care of the basketball and getting it where it needs to go, but she is also a capable scorer who can bury shots when the defense helps off of her. She is one of those kids who goes to a successful small college program and immediately helps them win.

Alyx is one of the best prospects on our entire watch list in 2026, and if I'm being honest, after watching her in July, she should probably be in our Top-100 when we expand our rankings in December, if not in the current Top-75. She has a tall, long frame, she's a nice all-around athlete, and she has done a good job of building her strength. She can knock down shots from the perimeter, put it on the floor and attack the basket, plus she's great in the mid-post and can score around the block. If she can sit a little lower defensively and be better at that end of the floor around the perimeter, I think it will really help her recruiting.

I saw Aleeyah briefly at a workout in March, but then not again until July. By July, she was outstanding, very athletic, aggressive at both ends of the floor, and she makes plays that can change games. She is long for a guard, athletically built, and she plays with speed, quickness, and bounce. She can be a ball hawk defensively, but she also rebounds her position fairly well. Offensively, she is more of a creative scorer, however, she can find open teammates and she can knock down jumpers when left alone and in rhythm. I think she's a really nice talent who should only get better these next two years.

I tend to use the phrase "in a time when size is at a premium" often, and I'm going to apply that here as well. Raven is a nice-sized, fairly athletic frontline prospect who has gotten stronger each year. She plays hard, runs the floor well, and she tries to be physical. I think she's still a wait-and-see prospect, because she's still growing and gaining strength, but once she does, she could be highly effective. She has some touch in the mid-post, developing hands and footwork around the block, plus she's a nice "help-side" defender who can block/alter a lot of shots. She's definitely one who colleges will want to have on their radars.
