Talent is everywhere, if you know what you're looking at so here's part 1 on the incoming freshmen

[player_tooltip player_id='935784' first='Benita' last='Byrd']- made Day 2 Top Performers see evaluation here

[player_tooltip player_id='985943' first='Londyn' last='Marshall']-her "on the ball" defense stood out both on days as well as her court vision but she falls into that #sizedontmatter group because she can play. She's an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends and her attacking the basket and finishing after contact was nice yet she also showed good body control on her finishes. Her "catch and shoot" from outside gave her options

[player_tooltip player_id='916535' first='Saniyah' last='Paulus']- she was one of the standouts at Who's NXT yet I love getting a variety of looks on players. Her rebounding once again stood out yet her going AFTA the ball relentlessly off the rim, in the air as well as on the floor was also impressive. Her interior defense as well as stepping outside and defending, check, and double-check, but she also gave me the "hands and footwork" to score around the rim

[player_tooltip player_id='874880' first='Amazing' last='Omolola']- tore it up at Who's NXT and ripped it wide open on OPENING DAY

[player_tooltip player_id='874881' first='Alana' last='Howard']- was another standout at Whos NXT who gave me more yet let me add "then some" from here. I mentioned she was "long and athletic" which will always be the base but her versatility and doing things instinctively, like a huge save that was going out of bounds, had me smiling. She created her shot nicely, and she went AFTA rebounds even stronger, yet her TIMING to block shots looked very good, so does her upside

[player_tooltip player_id='916417' first='Tomi' last='Onuwaje']-showed me her athletic ability on both ends at Whos NXT and a whole lot more so I already knew the "on the ball" pressure as well as scoring off the dribble would be solid, and it was. I mentioned her being "shifty with the ball" yet her spin move in traffic to score was impressive yet so was her court vision in the set as well as in transition. Speaking of transition, she gave me the "stop and pop" from outside

[player_tooltip player_id='973944' first='Bailey' last='Elliot']- also stood out at Whos NXT yet her mindset as well as "poise under pressure" is ahead of her years because pressure is irrelevant when she's handling the ball or seeing the floor. She understands how to get the defender off balance and when you factor in her first step, she can blow by you. Her "on the ball" pressure was solid again, but so was her court vision, and one more time #sizedontmatter when you can play
