These duos are bound to make magic happen this season. With the leadership qualities that come with being a Senior and the fresh, new perspective of the Freshmen making their debuts, the stage is set for some incredible basketball to be played. The following duos compliment each other well and should be tough tandems to try and stop:

Laila Fathi & [player_tooltip player_id='414340' first='Macie' last='McCracken'] | Wildwood

If Laila learned anything from older sister & Wildwood alum Imene Fathi, it's how to be a dynamic point guard who can both dish and score at a high level. With a young team, the Warriors will rely on Laila to execute at the point and knock down deep shots when open. Taking control at the 1 will relieve PG Angie Wilber from having to play the entire game. This will also free up sharpshooter Macie to do what she does best, which is score at a high clip. Laila is a strong guard who can handle the ball and push it up the floor and get it ahead to an open Macie from 3, a sure recipe for success for the Warriors.

[player_tooltip player_id='979627' first='Finley' last='Green'] & [player_tooltip player_id='976699' first='Kayla' last='Dunn'] | Camden Catholic

Kayla was both the best offensive and defensive weapon the Irish had last season, leading them in points and steals. With the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='979627' first='Finley' last='Green'], Kayla will have even more room to operate out at the perimeter as the defense collapses to try and prevent Finley from racking up rebounds and controlling the paint. Fin is a seasoned Freshman, spending this summer working hard and showing off at Elite Camps hosted by Lehigh and Bucknell. She comes in laser focused and ready to put in work. Adding Kayla's lockdown defense, she will have to be assertive in the post, command the glass and protect the rim. Rebounds will be crucial to secure as they can be quickly converted to second chance scoring by Kayla out behind the arc. Look for a strong high-low game and crisp post-entry passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='982714' first='Antonia' last='Jackson'] & [player_tooltip player_id='333323' first='Aleena' last='Dinker'] | St. John Vianney

Jackson and Dinker will be a formidable backcourt for the Lady Lancers, bringing speed, vision and scoring to the table. Both can alternate playing the 1 & 2, but allowing Aleena to run the point (what she does best) and having Antonia stationed around the court to knock down jumpers may be to SJV's benefit. Fresh off a summer on the Nike circuit, "Cheech" Jackson is no stranger to playing top level competition, something that will continue this winter, as SJV is known for playing one of the most difficult schedules in the state every season. Together on the court, both will make a big impact on defense, especially around the perimeter. In transition, these two will be tough to stop from slashing to the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='913947' first='Quinn' last='Smigelsky'] & [player_tooltip player_id='414237' first='Mackenzie' last='Teevan'] | Holmdel

An immediate-impact player, Quinn has all the tools for early success this winter when she teams up with senior & Holy Cross commit [player_tooltip player_id='414237' first='Mackenzie' last='Teevan']. Her ability to handle and shield the ball from pesky defenders will make all the difference when breaking the press and getting the ball up ahead to Mackenzie ready to work in the paint. Quinn reads the defense well and anticipates even better! Selfless and savvy, she'll look to connect with Mackenzie on post-entry touches and quick ball distribution around the perimeter, as she can also stretch out and knock down 3's at a high clip. Big blocked shots + electric fast breaks = lots of buckets between these two.

[player_tooltip player_id='913907' first='Alexa' last='Racobaldo'] & [player_tooltip player_id='414236' first='Giavanna' last='Rogers'] | Bishop Eustace

Alexa & Gi give the Crusaders a nice size-skill combo and formidable backcourt/frontcourt duo. We all know Gi is a certified bucket, sniping her way from 3 and racking up points quickly to help put her team in front. After all, she accounted for 23% of BE's total scoring last season as a junior! At 6'0", Alexa brings great size, versatile scoring and makes her presence felt at any position she plays. The buckets will be flowing inside and out with these two on the floor together. Look for drive-and-kicks, passing out of the high post (from Alexa to Gi for 3) and lots of rebounds secured for second chance scoring opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='981903' first='Breya' last='LeTennier'] & Leah Marain | DePaul

It'll be raining 3's with these two commanding the backcourt! Together, they may prove to be one of the best 3-point shooting duos in the Big North this season. Both are quite dangerous off the catch and take little to no time lining it up and firing off a deep shot. Breya brings strong rebounding from the guard spot and a sense of urgency whenever she's on the floor. She gets things done, plain and simple! Leah has tremendous patience and poise on offense, ensuring every shot is a good one! She, alone, made up for 23% of DePaul's scoring a season ago! With the departure of seniors Alanisse Freire and Sydney Jacobs (who combined for 40% of the team's scoring), Breya will be relied upon to make up for that loss in scoring and also bring a defensive element to the team.
