Annie is always gonna stand out in whatever basketball situation you put her in. She can’t help but to. She has a gregarious personality. She is ultra athletic and competitive. On top of all of that, she has the skills to go along with the will to win. You can’t help but notice Dawson’s natural athleticism, as simple things like jumping for a rebound and passing the ball up-court are made to look easy with her effortless style. She has played a lot of basketball and it is clear to see that it has become second nature. Not having to over think it out there has led Annie to become a fluid player with the ball in her hands and someone who can seemingly score at will. Better yet, she constantly works to make the players around her better, and come next year, I have no doubt that she will be making a college coach very happy with her ability to do just that!

Annie Dawson Annie Dawson 5'7" | CG Lakewood Christian | 2024 State OK competes on both ends of the floor with a All In attitude.   Strong physical guard that can score in many ways.  A combo guard that can shoot from the outside or drop her shoulders to get to the rim.  Demonstrated her vision in the open floor while making several great passes in the half court.   Annie did not mind mixing it up in the paint either.

We all know the story about how I left for a while and came back. Well, so did Annie, unfortunately due to an injury. But, I was certain that when I came back she would be committed somewhere. I mean, this kid is an absolute beast in every facet of the game! A leader on and off the court, you really couldn’t ask for more. Since coming back, she literally has not missed a single step. She still plays with abandon. She still goes hard all game and gives you everything she has. Her IQ looks to have gotten even higher from spending some forced time on the bench watching her team play. Annie can still fill it up from long range. This kid is unbelievable and it’s wonderful to see that she hasn’t slowed down at all. If you don’t wake up and offer her, you are most definitely going to be regretting it sooner, rather than later.
