Looking for a major game tonight out of Adalyn Long Adalyn Long 5'10" | SG Washington | 2026 State IA . Long is Washington’s main offensive threat and she NEEDS to be on the attack if her team wants to have success this evening. Washington will have to play against a tough Tipton Tigers program, that has put together one of their best seasons in school history at 20-2 so far. The Tigers will have the size advantage but Washington will have the Guards to compete to combat that . Long has the ability to shoot off the bounce, off the catch, she can score going to the bucket, or she can use her size in the midrange for easy pull-up action when she is given space. Like we said, Long needs to be on high alert in this one. She has the ability to lead by example and hopefully we see that out there on the hardwood. If she can be commanding and confident in her work, everything else will follow.

I’m expecting Washington to get a win this weekend against Burlington High School and I’m expect Adayln Long to be their top producer on both ends of the hardwood while that is happening. Long has length, a sniper from deep, and some crafty ability to her play-style. She makes good choices on and off the ball a majority of the time and she doesn’t hurt her team with little, stupid mistakes. Burlington is not a bad program in the slightest, they just have one girl basically and Washington has more than just Long. With that being said, this could turn into a rock fight if everyone competes at a high level so it should be a good matchup to watch overall if you have the time to stop in!

I have said for a long time that Adalyn Long Adalyn Long 5'10" | SG Washington | 2026 State IA could be a productive player at the collegiate level if she were to get a shot. Well, Long recently as committed to compete with Luthern College (IA) to start off her career at the next level so she will get that opportunity. The reason Long is a no-brainer to me is because she isn’t the type on the floor that needs others to create rhyme for her. She doesn’t need rhythm at all. She can come in cold and produce in the handfuls off the Wing. Which is a talent not most high school prospects possess at this time. Long is also a solid starter when she gets the majority of minutes, making her versatile within her team’s lineup. Luthern got a good one in this pick up. Long should be able to produce early on in her career if she gets opportunities.

I still think that Adalyn Long Adalyn Long 5'10" | SG Washington | 2026 State IA could be an avid player at the next level if she finds the right fit for her game. Long is the type of player that could start for you or she could come off the bench. Either way, her production levels will not change. She is someone that can sub in a game, go 2-3 from three off the catch as she also plays solid defense, then she can sub right back out. I guess what I’m saying is that her game is so efficient at times that she is versatile in what her role can be within a system. I know that Long is dedicated to this game and that dedication should carry her to an opportunity in college at the end of the day.

Adalyn Long Adalyn Long 5'10" | SG Washington | 2026 State IA received one of her first college offers last week when Coe out of Cedar Rapids stepped up to give her a chance. Long and Coe both are coming off of impressive seasons. Long as a prospect did what she could for her Junior year at Washington, making her impact on each contest on both sides of the ball as a SG/PG. While Coe did a fantastic job throughout the season, eventually losing in their conference championship to Wartburg. I like this option for Long right now. Coe has some offers out there to some solid producers and now Long is in that conversation.

Long has been hitting stand still jumpers, she has been getting to the hoop on opportunity, she is jumping to the ball defensively and creating steals defensively, and she has been doing all this while keeping it simple over everything else. Long is primed for a big AAU campaign for the rest of this season. She looks good to start and she will build on that

Long competes out of Washington, Iowa with Washington High School and over the years she has been someone that her team can rely on. Long makes things happen. Plain and simple. She is a guard with a nice handle, respectable vision, a great mindset, nice side-to-side moment laterally, and a better than average motor. She never seems to take plays off, making her presence known on both sides of the ball and she never loses focus. Talking about calm & consistent prospects? Long is exactly that in a nutshell.
