is always moving on the court making smart flashes in the paint, and she’s ready to shoot knowing how to make it count. She is so quick on her feet posting up in the paint, and she can shoot all over the court. She runs the floor well being ready to help with fast breaks, and she did a nice job using her length to grab rebounds and protect the basket on defense. She even made some nice passes leading to points for her teammates.

She had some nice shot fakes, too, getting her defender off balance where she created her own open look. She played well at the high post finding her teammates flashing to the basket. Shehan is fun to watch. She is a versatile player who uses her body well to score in the paint. She can score with her right, with her left, and through contact. Shehan is also a strong rebounder around the goal. In any game, there is a great chance that Shehan will be close to recording a double-double. She is an active offensive rebounder and a strong defensive rebounder. She and her teammates are ready for an awesome season in 2024-2025. Shehan has committed to play college basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan.

Alexis Shehan recently hit her 500th rebound with Lake Norman because she does it well on both ends. She gets inside to end the possession of her opponents on defense, and she knows how to catch the rebound, make an adjustment, and score on offense. She is constantly moving on the floor flashing across the paint making the defense lose her to get the open look. Her length is an asset on defense knocking the ball away.

Alexis Shehan has been very consistent this past season scoring on all levels of the court. She moves well working like a magnet to the ball getting open flashing across the court or tracking down the rebound to score on second chances. She has the right combination of ball handling and post moves that allows her to go to work off the dribble, and she knows how to put the floater up quickly off the pass.

I have yet to see a game where the Shehan twins have not shown up to play. They are the model of consistency. You know what you’re going to get every time they step on the court and they are not going to disappoint. Alexis hit some big baskets tonight on the way to finishing with a game high 21 points. Alexis was relentless and on the offensive end and she was able to score from every level. She knows how to flow within the offense, precise cutting to the rim and her teammates know how to find her. She can rebound at a high level, defend at a high level and her length is a problem as she when she is guarding opponents. Alexis connected on a beautiful face-up jumper right in the face of her defender. She is such a high level player with so much talent.

Alexis Shehan foundd the gaps and was ready for the pass as she cut to the basket. She had a nice take to the basket showing off a spin move in transition. She did a good job being patient letting her defenders get confused as she blew by them to the opening.
