Kincaid is a very intriguing prospect. She’s got the length and height, but she also moves her feet extremely well and has good footwork. She has good hands around the basket and has a strong mid-range game as she can knock down jumpers and elevate over defenders to get her shot off. When help defense steps over, Kincaid has shown an ability to see the floor and make good passes. Defensively, she is a good shot blocker. Even when she doesn’t come up with the block, she often alters the shot. Kincaid has the potential to be a major impact player next season.

Kincaid can really bring a lot of value to the court. She’s got excellent length that allows her to impact the game inside, but she also has a lot of versatility that allows her to stretch the floor. She can finish well around the basket and she uses both sides of the rim well. She can also finish over or through defenders. Kincaid has a solid jump shot that she can turn to as well. Defensively, she can really make things hard for opponents. She can use her length to block or alter shots, but she also uses her athleticism to come up with steals in the passing lanes. Kincaid has shown her rebounding abilities early on this season as well, going after rebounds hard and using her length to grab them before anyone else can.

Staying at CAL, Addison jumps up from 35 overall to 27th in this update. Her offensive game is still a work in progress but Kincaid has shown the ability to rebound at a high level and offers good rim protection. As her offense improves, the sky is the limit for Addison thanks to her God given size and mobility.

Kincaid was already a good rim protector and rim runner last year. Now she is putting the ball on the floor from the perimeter and driving into the lane. She is much more fluid with the ball and looked good knocking down a 12 foot corner jumpshot. This is no longer a player limted to an interior attack making her all the more difficult to defend and helping to increase interior spacing on her school team that already has a dominant interior scorer. With both of these players now being able to play Inside and Outside there will be more room for both of them to operate.
Something about her frame makes me believe Kincaid could still be growing. Maybe it is just muscle that is coming as she continues to lift and matures. But I just feel like she might have a little more height added before she gets to College. Her expanded skill set is going to open more doors for her too even if she doesn’t gain any size. She was just a little small to play D1 ball as an Interior player only. With the skills she is harder to place but I would think her floor is an NAIA type of school, and that is full scholarship basketball. rn

Kincaid was one of the most active bigs I saw on Saturday. She is extremely long and she has good speed. Kincaid’s ability to spread the floor is unique. She can hit shots from the mid-range with a defender guarding her by simply keeping the ball up and elevating over them. She also made some excellent passes to her teammates, and did a great job in transition.
