Her defense often sparks her offense. She has quick instincts to pick off passes and uses active hands to force turnovers as an on-ball defender. Owens is crafty when attacking the basket with eurosteps and is a dangerous three-point shooter off the catch. AB nailed three three-pointers and averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4.5 steals in two games against Gilmer and Lamar County.
