There is a lot I can say about Avery Sweeney Avery Sweeney 5'6" Center Point-Urbana | 2025 IA and her play-style but the thing that stood out the most this past weekend was how hard she hustles and works off of the ball. Sweeney is someone that leaves it all on the floor on the defensive side of things. She is a menace guarding her 1 on 1 matchup, while also being someone that can make some things happen on the offensive side of the ball. She was the first one on the floor or diving into the stands this weekend for a loose ball and that is just the tip of the iceberg as it pertains to her effort. On an Iowa Prep team that has some solid playmakers in each aspect of the game, Sweeney was one of the players that stood out the most to me while watching them compete. If she can keep up this effort and pick her spots wisely, she should see a lot of success moving forward in this sport of basketball.
