Bartine was another player I don’t remember seeing before, but she caught my attention. She has the physical tools that will catch people’s attention the second she steps on the floor. The DeForest native has the length that can affect any game she plays in, and she did her best work around the basket on both ends. She reminds me a lot of the post player the Norskies have right now, and if she sticks with basketball, she will keep getting better under the staff at DeForest.

After watching a very disciplined Team Herro (Grundahl) squad, I noticed plenty of talent, but one player who really stood out was Bartine. Standing close to 6’2″, she has the ability to score in a variety of ways , displays polished post moves, and played with confidence. As a player confidence can take you a long way, and Bartine definitely has it. I’ll be making sure to catch more of her games moving forward.
