I have been wondering what Ryken had in store for this season and Alexa Buckley Alexa Buckley 6'1" | SF St. Mary's Ryken | 2029 MD is on the menu. She is a solid player that at 6’2″ can step away from the basket and knock down shots with good form all the way out to the three. She moves well up and down the court and it will be interesting if the Knights are able to surround her with a couple other pieces to attack the WCAC season.

Buckley had good awareness around the basket on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she positioned herself on the weak side and was ready to secure the rebound when the shot went up. She also contributed offensively around the paint, converting a nice finish inside.

Buckley is a physical presence who rebounds, protects the basket, and has the footwork to find her shots or bully her way to the basket and finish with the hook. Plays well in motion offense, rolls hard off screens, dives to the basket, and always gives her team an option. Brings a physicality to her game, has vision as a passer, and makes the right read.
