Abeyta steps onto the court brimming with confidence. Her improved three-point shot and newfound consistency have turned heads. Abeyta’s hard work also shows in her finishing around the rim and her passing. On defense, she brings relentless pressure, always hunting for steals and disrupting opponents’ plays. The Westminster guard is primed for a big season this year.

She did a good job spacing the floor and giving the offense another threat from the perimeter. She was also active defensively and stayed involved on that end of the floor.

Abeyta shot the lights out on Friday evening, knocking down three corner three-pointers in the second half against Tru’s 16U team. She did a great job relocating to her spots and received great kick-out passes for those corner threes. Abeyta was aggressive on defense, forcing turnovers and creating pressure in the half-court.  This could be a breakout performance for Abeyta.
