Tecumseh needed somebody to step up and make perimeter shots against Frankenmuth in the semifinals–Ashlyn was that somebody. She caught fire, hitting four of six three-point attempts for the Indians on her way to 14 points. In the finals, Ashlyn poured in nine points with a triple and dished out five assists. Her clutch shooting and effective passing were a major reason why the Indians secured the state title.
