Aunyai is an athletic guard from Legends United who had a solid weekend at our Victory Region Finals. She has shifty ball-handling moves and quickness that make it very challenging to keep her from getting to the cup. In the semifinals, Aunyai kept getting downhill with her dribble–she knocked down five free throws and poured in nine points. Aunyai threaded passes through small windows, closed out hard on the perimeter to force missed shots, and pressured the ball to create steals on the defensive end. She used a swift, low-sweep move on the perimeter to get the edge and buried a smooth pull-up jumper. Aunyai is a lockdown defender, and she earned All-Tournament Third Team honors.

Deere has secured a couple of offers over the past couple of years, and it’s mainly due to her playing twice her size. She makes herself known on the boards, and from a scout’s standpoint, she can put up strong numbers both inside and outside. A double double every night isnt too far fetched for her.

Plain and simple, Aunyai HUSTLES. Quickness and control is the name of her game. Her on the ball game is stellar and she is a commander on the court. She is smooth in the paint and can shoot lights out. Other than that, she is just plain GOOD!
