Davae had a very productive day for Team Eight at the PGH Sophomore ID Showcase. She’s a quick, scrappy, shifty, and tough point guard prospect. Dave picked the ball-handlers pocket in the backcourt for a swipe and score, then went back to the well for another backcourt steal to earn a trip to the free throw line. She shoots with balance and a rhymic follow through at the line, which makes her extremely efficient. Davae knew when to kick the ball out to the perimeter as defenders committed to her dribble and made a great baseline pass for an assist. She caught a pass in stride for a layup and attacked open space on a determined drive to earn another trip to the line. Davae has quick hands on defense and a nice pull-up jumper. She’s not afraid of contact.

Davae was an effective court general and facilitator at the Great Lakes Kickoff for Angels Basketball 15U. She used spin dribbles to beat full-court pressure and changed hands comfortably in transition. Davae caught a pass in the high post and made a great extra pass down low for the assist. After a shifty double-crossover move, Davae dished out another assist to a cutter. She side-stepped a defender to score a floater, finished off two feet, and ripped the ball away on the perimeter to score a speedy breakaway layup. Davae was active on the defensive boards and showed great sportsmanship by helping up an opponent.
