About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive, fast-paced, and team-first. I like to create opportunities, whether it’s driving to the basket, locking in on defense, or making the extra pass. I stay competitive and composed under pressure

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m passionate about the game and confident in the work I’ve put in. I’m competitive but coachable, and I stay focused, work hard, and bring energy every time I step on the court. I try to be someone my teammates can count on and lead by example. I don’t get too high or too low, I just keep pushing myself and stay ready for the big moments.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball and school, I’ve really developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to stay composed under pressure, support my teammates, and lead by example. Whether it’s on the court or in group projects, I try to bring a positive attitude and help everyone stay focused on our goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was coming back from an injury. Being sidelined was tough mentally and physically, but it taught me patience, discipline, and how to keep showing up even when things aren’t easy. I stayed committed to my recovery, supported my team from the sidelines, and came back stronger and more focused than before.
