Katie, a guard for Mystics, put together a strong performance at the MI College Tour Northwood, showing her ability to impact the game in multiple ways. She excelled attacking the basket, using her quickness to slash through the defense and finish once she got inside. Katie also turned defense into offense, taking a steal the length of the floor for a coast-to-coast score. On top of that, she competed hard on the glass, crashing in to secure rebounds and extend possessions for her team. Her energy and aggressive style helped her stand out throughout the event.

Katie has a very productive career ahead of her at Freeland, and she gave the team a spark with her perimeter shooting at the Hemlock Holiday Classic. Katie handles the ball well with both hands, sees the floor, and stays active on the defensive end. She swished two threes with a rhythmic release and scored eight for the Falcons. Katie’s length and skill make her a freshman with a lot of upside in the program.
