has been a standout defender since the beginning of the season- more precisely- for her entire high school career. Waters scores in transition and on downhill consistently. Her bread and butter is her ability to defend multiple positions, and defensively to protect the rim. Waters scores primarily at the rim and also in the transition game, but also shoots the three effectively. On the defensive end, Waters plays the passing lanes well and has great timing on blocking shots. She leads her team in three point percentage making, steals, and blocked shots. The Senior guard played well all week long and stepped it up in the leadership department as well.

(SF, Creekside) A proven leader and defender who took another leap forward this summer. Waters has always excelled at finishing at the rim and scoring off floaters and runners, but her improved jumper makes her far more dangerous now. She’s also an underrated defender and shot blocker and a high-level transition player who impacts every possession. She can steal it or rebound it and lead the break as well. Waters is a play maker on both sides of the ball.

has clearly got better. Over the summer, her work showed up — especially at the Camden Shootout in Georgia, where she knocked down the three-point shot with more confidence and consistency than ever before. That confidence and perimeter shooting have become the biggest parts of her growth. Already known as one of North Florida’s best shot-blocking forwards, Waters also is a tough defender with her feet on the floor. Her length and activity make her a defensive nightmare – she plays the passing lanes, and creates deflections that fuel transition offense. In the open floor, she runs well, finishes on the break, and shows a nice touch with her floater and runner. Long, mobile, and more confident than ever, Water’s growth was impossible to ignore. She’s not just protecting the rim anymore. Waters got better and now she is filling it up in a variety of ways. Waters got better.

showed the versatility at the shootout. Waters has definitely added muscle and has increased her physical play. She attacks the rim and can finish at the rim or hit you with the running floater. She connected on some three pointers that showcased her range and multi area scoring ability. Her three point efficiency is at its highest and makes a Waters a threat every time she touches the ball. Defensively, she blocked multiple shots and some in spectacular fashion. One play comes to mind. One of the most athletic players in building gets downhill to the rim appearing to have a step pass Waters. By the time the ball is released it is rejected into the “deep Waters”

had a standout performance at the UNF Team Camp and put the rest of the First Coast on notice – It’s Cami Time! Water’s was all over the place causing problem for the opponents. She was very impressive on defense, playing well in the passing lanes and rejecting shots at the rim. Waters looked like she has been hitting the weight room and she was definitely more physical than in past seasons. Offensively, Waters can get to the basket and hit you with the float game.

played great on the defensive side of the ball. Waters usually comes away with about 2 or 3 blocks per game that teams don’t expect. Water’s on-ball defense is good, and she generally bothers smaller guards with her height and length. Waters also does a good job of playing in the passing lanes and driving lanes and is very reliable with her help-side defense.
