Brooklyn is a long-range sniper, and at some point you just knew the barrage was coming. Once she found her rhythm, the three-pointers began to rain down. She knocked down shot after shot and became an immediate threat as soon as the ball touched her hands. Her range forces defenders to account for her well beyond the three-point line, creating additional space for everyone on the floor.

What impressed me was that Brooklyn wasn’t just a shooter. She showed a complete game, getting her teammates involved and making the right plays when the defense focused its attention on taking away her shot. She understood when to look for her own offense and when to move the ball to create opportunities for others.

Brooklyn also made an impact on the defensive end, where she competed and locked things down. The combination of high-level perimeter shooting, unselfish play, and defensive effort made her much more than a one-dimensional scoring threat. When her shot gets rolling, she can change the complexion of a game in a hurry.

Brooklyn put on an impressive shooting display, knocking down six three-pointers on her way to a game-high 20 points. She connected from beyond the arc in every quarter and showed the ability to make shots even with defenders closely contesting her. Brooklyn also took excellent care of the basketball, finishing the game without a turnover. Defensively, she stayed active and engaged, applying pressure on the ball and competing on that end of the floor. Her defensive effort, combined with her deep shooting range, confidence, and ball security, allowed her to make an impact on both ends throughout the game.

Brooklyn also plays the game smart with and without the ball. In both 3v3 and 5v5 Brooklyn never stopped moving and found herself open for easy layups.

Ms. Stewart can play off the ball to stretch the defense with her confident long ball or get creative to create space for herself and others.

Defensively, Brooklyn did not shy from contact as she demonstrated her ability to battle in the paint, winning rebounds to start the break.

Brooklyn is one of the best shooters in the area, and is especially dangerous from the corners. She’s a combo guard but has really improved her point guard skills over the winter. She gets after it on defense, fighting through screens and using her quick hands to come up with steals and deflections. I’m looking to see what type of jump she makes in her recruiting this summer.

Brooklyn stayed under control running the offense to precision. She she was verry effective from beyond the arc knocking down the three. Her scoring led to half of her teams points even though she missed significant time with foul trouble. She has speed and moves fast with or without the ball in her hands which helps her get space as the defender has to respect the blow by.

Brooklyn scored the first five points of the game against Poly enroute to a 19 point performance. She shot the three well and played tremendous defense. She made crisp passes from the point guard spot and finished well off the ball. She moved quickly up the court in transition seemingly always open and hustled back to break up plays on defense.

Brooklyn put on a strong performance, showcasing her shooting range from behind the arc both as a catch-and-shoot choice and off the dribble. As defenders closed out, she effectively used jabs and swing-through moves to get to the basket, displaying good awareness and offensive versatility.

Brooklyn had a solid all around game. She put up 16 points and made a bunch of timely plays when needed. I was really impressed with her ball handling and poise under pressure. She is playing more point guard this season and doing a solid job organizing the team and making accurate passes.

Brooklyn has turned in some solid performances every week. She is a dangerous scorer from all over the court, especially with her perimeter shooting. She has improved her ball handling and has been setting her teammates up for good shots.

Brooklyn led her team with 16 points. She made a couple of three’s and showed off the blazing speed that we have grown accustomed to. The Reds had a balanced attack with everyone contributing but nothing worked without Brooklyn running the show.
