DMV's Top 2027 Free Agents | Prep Girls Hoops

The Harbor 2 Capital Hardwood Classic put on by 695 Hoops allowed non-committed 2027 and 2028's to show their talents in front of college coaches ranging from D-2, D-3, and JUCO collegiate levels. Organized properly, lead by stretching followed by a few drills to get the ladies ready for 3v3 and 5v5 games.   The opportunity allowed for coaches to see some of the best underrated players the DMV has to offer, while players also had to the opportunity to show why they are the best fit for their program(s).   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Game Managers:</h2>   The ladies listed are ready for the collegiate level. All play a different style of game but are ultimately the floor general every program needs.    Amyah is your prototype point guard who is able to run the offense to proficiency while taking quality shots for herself. Within the system, Amyah understands team play and getting others involved. She can get into the paint with a determined dribble then making the correct read and kick out to shooters or drop offs to her bigs.   Defensively, she has great anticipation with the ability to play full court in your face defense, without fouling.     De'ja is your get the ball out the rim and go point guard. During the 5v5 games De'ja made three quality transition passes to her front court teammates, that were placed perfectly to put them into scoring position.   Her ability to slow down and run the offense came evident once in the half court setting as she was able to collapse the defense with her quick crossover to either get into her mid range pull up or pass to her cutting teammates.     Brooklyn also plays the game smart with and without the ball. In both 3v3 and 5v5 Brooklyn never stopped moving and found herself open for easy layups.   Ms. Stewart can play off the ball to stretch the defense with her confident long ball or get creative to create space for herself and others.   Defensively, Brooklyn did not shy from contact as she demonstrated her ability to battle in the paint, winning rebounds to start the break.     If you're looking for a gritty, hard nosed, yet humble player who is willing...look no further, her name is Tati.   Ms. Machiz has become one of my favorites to watch. She plays with an edge that is unmatched with a can't stop...won't stop mentality.   Her game is well balanced on both ends. Offensively, she is capable of managing the game at the next level while knocking down her shots when open. Defensively, she will fight and claw for her team to win the possession as she plays with a bully-like mentality that brings fear to most point guards.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Score First Guards:</h2>   Masara and Kayden are both score first guards who are capable of playing point at the next level.    Masara can get you from multiple levels but is best on the wing or in transition. Masara' energy thrives off her offensive game.   Once on the wing, M & M has a bag of options to either shoot over you with her high arching long ball, step back and create space, or jab-cross you getting to the rim.   Defensively, Masara is capable of guarding any backcourt tandem once her feet catches up with her eyes.     Kayden is a natural scorer who displayed her point guard skills during her 5v5 games. She was able to slow down and effectively run the offense getting others involved.   When the opportunity arose. McDaniel, was able to showcase her creativity with the ball as she was able to rock her defender to sleep with her slow walk-up crossover, to then reload and drive by them to her elbow pull up.   Defensively, she is a willing defender who can guard both backcourt opponents.   McDaniel's confidence with the ball makes her a solid collegiate player. Look for her to make some noise at St. John's High School this year.
