I was casually watching this game and I witnessed this talented guard just draining one perimeter shot after another. It was this 5’8″ shooting guard from Louisville. She was knocking down shots from well beyond the 3-point line. In addition to being and excellent shooter, she displayed good ball handling skills and the ability to find open teammates with her passing.

Jones suffers from the curse of Sacred Heart in the sense that she doesn’t get a ton of opportunity in the high school season but shines in AAU. Jones moved from 49th to 19th in this update as she is having a big AAU season and should be ready for a bigger role and more opportunity for the Valkyries as a Sophomore.

Calia Jones Calia Jones 5'8" | SG Sacred Heart | 2027 State KY is a guard with good size and big-time scoring ability. I was able to watch her play on Day 2 and walked away extremely impressed. She puts up points in bunches and can score from anywhere on the floor. Calia also rebounds the ball very well for a guard and knows how to make an impact on defense. She finished the game with 24 points or more and her upside was evident!
