Sam Duren | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A newcomer to the east side of OKC, Mason was productive as a spot up threat at the 6A last year. Expect more of the same this year, as she’ll help replace the talented guards the Trojettes lost to graduation. Along with her shooting ability, she buys in and competes on the defensive end. Has active hands on the ball and in the passing lanes, which should help her be a key part of the aggressive and effective defense that Douglass runs. With an tough national schedule and a likely Class 4A State Tournament run, there will be plenty of opportunties for Mason to shine and develop this winter.

Strong guard who made the move from Norman North to Douglass this offseason. Looks unafraid to get her nose dirty on the defensive end, with quick and strong hands to force steals or jump balls. Like the spin move she uses on drives, to score herself or be unselfish in her passes. Shots it clean from distance, and is positioning herself to make an impact this winter for one of the best teams in Oklahoma, the Lady Trojettes.

Was a bright spot for Norman North as a sharpshooting specialist. Has a pure shooting form, most evident as a catch and shooting threat. But also did hit in the mid-range when given the opportunity to put the ball on the floor a bit. Promising viewing early in her sophomore campaign, should continue to flourish as she continues to get more run at the varsity level.
