Oklahoman Recruiting Winners from July

Fresh off her impressive spring and summer for one of the best teams in the country, she's picked her collegiate home. And the northeastern Oklahoma standout won't be going far to play some big time basketball. She's crossing the border to play for Arkansas. The Lady Razorbacks have quite a few connections to Oklahoma, with 2026 star Kyiah Prestridge headed there this fall. While head coach Kelsi Musick is an Oklahoma native. Her last two coaching stops were Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford and Oral Roberts in Tulsa. Stokes is a big win for Musick's program.     918 Standouts take advantage of Southern Ties Opportunities   Two guards from the Tulsa area made the most of the opportunity for the loaded Pro 16 Southern Ties squad. Defensive minded Union [player_tooltip player_id='1352739' first='Demoia' last='Gater'] cleaned up this month, adding offers from Louisiana Monroe, Georgia Southern, Arkansas Little Rock, East Texas A&M and Gardner Webb. She already had a handful of earlier D1 offers, and has been one of the biggest risers in Oklahoma. Coweta's [player_tooltip player_id='606266' first='Gia' last='Dennis'] entered July with D2 interest, but according to a source appears to be knocking on the door of picking up D1 offer herself. Which is more than justified, as the powerful and quick guard is one of the more dynamic players in Oklahoma.     Stop me if you've heard this before, Class of 2028 cleaned up again   After two more live periods the Class of 2028 is once again proving it's not hype, it's real. Here's a quick run down of some of the new D1 offers. Expect this Class to send over 20 to the D1 level, and many many more to all levels of collegiate basketball.     [player_tooltip player_id='727813' first='Brooklyn' last='Miles'] - Liberty, UCF, Texas Tech, George Mason, Texas Christian   Miles and her JYD teammates started the season as S40 program for Select Events. They finished as runner ups in P24 division. They're good, quite good. Miles' also played in front of other big time programs in Louisville and more offers could be coming.   [player_tooltip player_id='913706' first='Justice' last='Woods'] - Purdue   A quick twitch bucket getter, Woods picked up a Purdue offer after the Vegas EYBL session with Legynds' 17U program.   [player_tooltip player_id='992446' first='Anna' last='Sudbeck'] - Central Arkansas, Alabama Birmingham, Wichita State One of the best shooters in Oklahoma and the region. Sudbeck torched the nets in Kentucky and added to her growing list of D1 offers.   [player_tooltip player_id='913569' first='Amara' last='King'] - San Diego, New Mexico, Stephen F Austin   Another super popular 2028 name, King is an unique blend of quickness and power as a wing. She was even shooting it better from distance during a month where Legynds 16U went 10-2 in EYBL play.   [player_tooltip player_id='913552' first='Kalani' last='Kindred'] - Stephen F Austin   Kindred always produces on both ends of the court. Stephen F Austin has taken notice and more schools should follow.   Jada and [player_tooltip player_id='882117' first='Mika' last='Davis'] - California, Georgia Tech, North Texas, Arkansas Little-Rock   The upside continues to be off the chart for the twin duo from Union. They took advantage of the platform provided by Texas U and added more coast to coast offers. It's a credit to their academics that prestigious Cal and Ga Tech are in the picture for the rising duo. Woodruff is an athletic, do it all guard, now with a wide array of D1 offers.   2027 Round Up   [player_tooltip player_id='1252185' first='Gracie' last='Sanders'] commits to University of Arkansas at Monticello   One of the most improved players in Oklahoma, the still developing athletic wing has chosen the Arkansas D2 program as her next home.   Jhazmyn Herron - Independence Community College and Johnson County Community College   Herron is a speedy defensive minded point guard, with interest from a variety of small college programs. It appears Kansas JuCos in particular are quite interested in her.   [player_tooltip player_id='896575' first='Avery' last='Iliff']  - Henderson State   All Bixby does is produce skilled guards. Iliff is no different and a strong July with the succesful Midwest Hustle Elite program has led to an offer from a D2 in Arkansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='910307' first='Ava' last='Slagle'] - Bethel, NEO A&M, Fort Scott, Ottawa, Southwest Christian   The ball is finally rolling for a player who produces every time she steps on the court. The tenacious rebounder and improved shooter now has quite a few well deserved small college options.     [player_tooltip player_id='1830927' first='Mattie' last='Slezickey'] - Nelson   A scrappy lead guard for Kingfisher. Slezickey has picked up an offer from the Sooner Athletic Conference program, that is just south of Dallas.   [player_tooltip player_id='894692' first='Camille' last='Mason'] - Oklahoma Christian   Mason might not have to travel far for a next level opportunity. As the Douglass guard was recently offered and visited the Edmond D2 program.   Kaylin KK Lephew - Doane University   A high energy scrappy guard, Lephew captured the attention of the Nebrksa based NAIA program. Lephew will be finishing up her prep career at 4A darkhorse Berryhill.
