Milton is a player that once she puts her head down, she is going to get to the rim. One of the things that stood out to me was her ability to get to the paint and finish with the spin move. Shoots the 3 ball consistently which makes the defenders have to play her for the shot and the drive. Gets downhill quickly and once she turns you, it’s hard to keep her in front of you.

is a young player who understands how to play her role and make an impact. She is an energizer for her team and does many of the little things that contribute to winning. Milton was part of last year’s state championship team. She stepped in when her number was called and played her role to help her team reach the promised land. Milton is a very good defender with the quickness to stay in front of speedy guards and the physicality to mix it up with stronger players. That combination of speed, quickness, and toughness makes her especially impactful on the defensive end. Offensively, Milton can give you baskets in the midrange and create second-chance points off rebounds and putbacks. She is also quick enough to fill the lanes and score in transition. Her offensive game is still developing, but she is already an impactful player in other areas of the court. .Anyone matched up against Milton at the showcase is going to be challenged.

quietly put together a steady performance at the FABC Showcase, particularly on the defensive end of the floor. The most noticeable aspect of Milton’s game was the energy she brought to every possession. She defended well on the ball, disrupted passing lanes, and consistently executed her assignments in the press, press break, man-to-man, and zone defense. Offensively, Milton knocked down several mid-range jumpers and attacked the basket with confidence when opportunities presented themselves. While her performance may have flown under the radar, it was effective. At Booker, it’s always “next player up,” and Milton showed she was more than ready to embrace that role.

Zhariyah showed a well-rounded scoring ability by finishing comfortably at the rim on either side. She also knocked down the three-point shot consistently which gives her value as a threat at multiple levels of the floor. Zee kept her head up when handling the ball and attacking, allowing her to make smart reads and stay composed under pressure. Her steady motor stood out as well by competing with energy and staying engaged throughout her heavy minutes this weekend.

brought energy and defensive intensity to the game. Her ability to impact both ends of the floor makes her a valuable asset to any team. Offensively, she used her explosive first step to get to the rim before the defense could rotate. Defensively, that same quickness and gritty play style kept her matchups in front of her and forced turnovers—if you crossed the ball in her face, she was taking it. She consistently shot the gaps, pushed the ball in transition, and created scoring opportunities. As Milton continues to develop her niche and go-to skill, she will be a consistent contributor to winning seasons throughout her high school career.
