didn’t make the game winner, but you can bet she had her hand on the ball during the game-winning sequence of plays. Throughout the game, the young guard made play after play, and most won’t show up on the stat sheet. Her ability to handle the ball and play in sync with her teammates was very impressive. Defensively, Hall was up against some taller and more physical guards, but went toe-to-toe throughout the championship game. Her biggest asset is her speed, quickness, and lateral movements. She used angles to keep the defenders honest and, down the stretch, strong dribbling skills to protect the ball. Hall has been in big games before, and when her fellow senior teammate, Francis, went down, Hall was “next man up”. A telling stat that shows Hall’s impact in the game – her team was plus 8 when she was on the floor.
