When defenders jumped out at her, Mueller had the instincts to use her dribbling skills to blow by them and drive to the basket. Jamesville-Dewitt has a future star in Mueller.

Mueller is a lethal outside shooter with the elbow extended, serving as her preferred spot. When the defense runs her off the 3-point arc, she can blow past defenders with her quick first step. Mueller has no fear when she goes to the basket against bigger players and has an impressive floater in the paint that she uses effectively.

Mueller stood out with her defensive activity and ability to turn turnovers into offense. She consistently generated steals and converted them into fast break opportunities. Her quickness allowed her to get ahead of the defense and finish in transition. Offensively, she played with control, making smart decisions with the ball. She showed the ability to push the tempo and keep the offense moving. Defensively, she applied pressure and disrupted opposing guards. Her energy level remained high throughout the game. Mueller’s ability to impact the game on both ends made her a key contributor.
