Clara was one of the best shooters we saw during Day 1 of the tournament. She has an absolute beauty of a jump shot with consistent mechanics, a high arc, and a high release point, making it difficult for defenders to contest. Mueller is primarily an off-ball threat when she’s on the floor. She moves into the right spots off of pure instinct. Her efficiency was on full display, especially in their matchup vs Dreamers Elite 15U. Mueller is not afraid to let shots fly if there’s any space between her and her defender.

Clara contributes in multiple positions for her team as she can bring the ball up the court to run the offense with confidence but can also play off the ball as their best outside shooter. She has a quick left handed release with a high arch. Clara scored 10 points during Sunday’s matchup.

Despite a tough matchup against Winchester Rising Stars , Mueller continued to compete and bring energy for Synergy from start to finish. The guard knocked down multiple three-pointers, including one early to help spark the offense and another later in the game that showcased her confidence as a perimeter shooter. Mueller stayed vocal, battled defensively, and consistently fought to make plays, showing toughness and effort regardless of the score.

Mueller is a left-handed jump shooter, which makes her more of a challenge to defend. Mueller is only 5’2″ but has no problem with squeezing her shots off. She has a quick release and is an excellent 3-point shooter, especially from the extended elbow area. Mueller nailed four treys in the game after pouring in five in a game the day before. When defenders jumped out at her, Mueller had the instincts to use her dribbling skills to blow by them and drive to the basket. Jamesville-Dewitt has a future star in Mueller.

Clara Mueller Clara Mueller 5'2" | SG/PG Jamesville-DeWitt | 2030 NY can best be described as a long-range sniper. Mueller doesn’t stand tall in height, but performs much bigger. Mueller is a lethal outside shooter with the elbow extended, serving as her preferred spot. When the defense runs her off the 3-point arc, she can blow past defenders with her quick first step. Mueller has no fear when she goes to the basket against bigger players and has an impressive floater in the paint that she uses effectively.

Mueller stood out with her defensive activity and ability to turn turnovers into offense. She consistently generated steals and converted them into fast break opportunities. Her quickness allowed her to get ahead of the defense and finish in transition. Offensively, she played with control, making smart decisions with the ball. She showed the ability to push the tempo and keep the offense moving. Defensively, she applied pressure and disrupted opposing guards. Her energy level remained high throughout the game. Mueller’s ability to impact the game on both ends made her a key contributor.
