Clara was outstanding during her freshman year last season. She plays the game under control and with a lot of passion, being vocal and energetic towards her teammates. She reads the ball coming off the rim very quickly, leading to easy rebounds for her. I think she could be able to grab 10 or more rebounds every single game next season while being able to score 10 a game too. She is a walking double-double and it is going to start to show more and more.

Clara is one of the best post players in the entire class and her play at the varsity level proved that. She averaged over 6 rebounds a game and I think that number could rise even more next season. She could have a double-double every night and I believe will average 10ppg/10rpg a game, eventually. Stowe reads the ball off the rim really well and hustles every possession.

Stowe is an impactful post for Mercer Island who has exceptional size and strength that has been a true asset down low this season. She’s averaging 6.2 ppg and 6.5 rpg (1st on the team) and has some real bruising capabilities. She does a great job attacking rebounds, boxing out on defense, she gets big when cutting off drives as the help defender and makes those skip and dump off passes difficult. Her finishing will need some work but she’s already producing at a level that suggests she’ll be a consistent double-double threat for years to come.
