Entering her third year of organized basketball, Ware continues to make noticeable strides in her development. Already a solid rim protector, her presence alone alters opposing offenses. Additionally, her length and timing allow her to impact shots around the basket.

As her game continues to evolve, Ware remains a promising long-term prospect. However, her offensive development will be key moving forward. With increased consistency and confidence, she should draw growing college interest throughout the season.

Overview
Entering just her third season of organized basketball. Ware has developed at an encouraging pace for a player of her size.

Skill Set
At 6’7″, Ware is a natural rim protector and a defensive presence that opponents must account for whenever she is on the floor. Her length alone alters shots and discourages drives into the paint.

Projection
A long-term project by design, Ware possesses a high ceiling. If she continues to develop offensively to complement her defensive impact, she has the potential to become one of the region’s most dominant interior players.

Dominant by presence alone, at 6’7″ Ware stands as one of the most intimidating forces in Hampton Roads girls basketball. Her length and size alone force opponents to rethink their approach, turning confident drives into hesitant floaters and rushed perimeter attempts.

Ware doesn’t need to block every shot to control the paint — her presence alone alters them.

However, when teams dare to challenge her at the rim, she responds decisively. Ware possesses the ability to block or deflect nearly anything in her vicinity, erasing clean looks and disrupting offensive rhythm. As a result, many teams simply avoid the paint altogether, settling instead for contested, low-percentage shots from the outside.

Ware doesn’t just protect the rim, she dictates where opponents are allowed to score.

Ware, at 6’7″, is a true presence in the post. While she projects as a long-term developmental prospect, her defensive prowess is already evident. She consistently uses her height and exceptional reach to force opponents to rush decisions and alter shots around the rim.

Ware’s presence alone often deters paint touches, pushing opposing offenses to operate on the perimeter. When players do attack the interior, they’re met with the challenge of finishing over her length and shot-blocking ability. The defensive tools are there giving Ware a clear pathway to becoming a high-impact rim protector as her game continues to mature.

The saying goes “You can’t teach height”, and Ware has that. In just her second year of organized basketball, Ware possesses the potential to be a defensive force. Her offensive game is a work in progress having contributed 12 points in the contest against Landstown. Her defensive presence alone makes many players leery about driving to the basket.

Has elite size and length at the center position, capable rim protector at 6’7. Bit of a project right now but with work in the gym you can see a bump in her development this season. Last season she showed that she can run the floor and rebound and can help her team this season in the 757!
