On this Dragon’s team, with their currently lineup, Phillips has to perform in some MAJOR moments off the bench at times. She is looked upon to come into the game, rebound, and to defend her position the best she can. Phillips did just that in this one. She made her presence known by defending like her life depended on it at times and that stood out. Daya might not be the biggest scoring threat at all times but she makes up for that with her ability to defend, rebound, and the knowledge of her game. If Johnston wants to go back2back2back in 5A, Daya will be a major factor in that process.
