When you think about Johnston and their personal, you think of their top producers in all categories but a player that has came into her own so far this season as a solid role player off the bench is Mariah Dixon Mariah Dixon 5'4" | CG/PG Johnston | 2027 IA . Dixon is someone that we didn’t see getting a ton of time to start this Winter but she is slowly adding onto her opportunities whenever she has the chance. Dixon knows her role. She keeps it simple as a PG/CG, she makes the easy play, and from there – everyone looks pretty good at the end of the day. She has a solid handle with better than average vision in the half court but she never tries to over-do a situation. She takes what is given to her while working with those around her and that is something that will continue to play throughout the rest of her high school career from the looks of it.

Someone that is going to have a chance to step up this Winter for her Urbandale High School program is Mariah Dixon Mariah Dixon 5'4" | CG/PG Johnston | 2027 IA at the Guard position. Dixon is more of a reacting guard, that can handle well under pressure and find open teammates. She demonstrates a solid shot form whenever letting it fly and she really helps the others around her the best she can whenever she is out on the court. It’ll be fun to see her against this level of competition this Fall in this league. If she can take over on the regular, it’ll only help moving into the future.
