Delanie Hill immediately came out to show off her ability to score at multiple levels setting herself up for the shot from deep and attacking the basket hitting the open lane.  She anticipated what her opponents were going to do well on defense jumping in the passing lanes and grabbing the steal quickly turning it around for some points on the other end.  She’s patient letting plays develop knowing when to make the pass to her teammates as she draws defenders towards her.

Delanie Hill scored 25 points for Providence in a huge win over Rocky River. Hill handles the ball extremely well and has the ability to score, get fouled, or dish to an open teammate. She is a strong guard who can score through contact or create space for her jump shot in the paint. Hill can also step outside and knock down multiple three-point field goals. She has a smooth stroke and a quick release. Additionally, Hill has a high basketball IQ and makes great decisions on the floor for her team.

Delanie Hill does a nice job wrapping passes around defenders and connecting with her teammates for their own points.  She still has her shot from deep that she can count on, too, to score some points around the perimeter.  She scored three points the old fashioned way, too, attacking the basket and battling through contact.  Her ability to see the floor and make the pass to her teammates where they are running is certainly ready for the next level.

Delanie Hill has showed an excellent progression in her high school career.  She was able to play various guard positions handling the ball and setting herself up as a shooting guard.  She’s turned into a nice point guard handling the ball and controlling the tempo, but she’s one that knows how to create her own scoring opportunities.  Her sharp shooting around the arc is certainly going to be on display at the next level.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5'7" | CG Providence | 2024 State NC does a great job pushing the ball up the court finding the open lanes to score some points or find her teammates.  She moves well with the ball adjusting to make the best pass, and she relocates on the court after she passes finding the open spots to knock down her shot from deep.  She doesn’t shy away from getting inside for rebounds, too, being ready for the putback on the offensive side or busting out of the paint from a defensive rebound to start a fast break.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5'7" | CG Providence | 2024 State NC attacked the basket and was handling the ball well against any kind of pressure.  She knocked down her shot from deep giving her team some life in the second half of a game on Saturday.  Her awareness on the court of finding the open lanes for her teammates or herself will certainly translate well to the next level.

Delanie Hill has been on an absolute tear for 1 of 1.  She handles the ball well pushing the tempo when needed and settling her team down if they need to run an offensive set.  Her ability to knock down shots from anywhere is an asset for sure as she knows how to get open with her handles, or she can shoot off the pass.  Her awareness and vision on the court shows how much she understands the game as she facilitates plays and directs her teammates where to go in order to get some points.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5'7" | CG Providence | 2024 State NC does a nice job handling the ball, waiting for plays to develop, and making the smart pass to her teammate for their own points.  She definitely takes full advantage of a defender not staying right on her knocking down shots from deep even in transition.  She had a nice defensive play sliding in front of her opponent taking a charge.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5'7" | CG Providence | 2024 State NC is a nice addition for this group showing off some quick speed with the ball, and she used her spin moves to score some points by the basket.  She scores through contact with no problem.  She was all over the court on defense grabbing steals and deflecting passes.  She knew exactly how to score some points off these steals.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5'7" | CG Providence | 2024 State NC has been a versatile guard in the Charlotte area for years showing off some nice handles and even more solid shooting from deep.  She does an excellent job creating plays for herself using her handles to create space, or she moves well without the ball finding the gaps in the defense.  She is certainly good at increasing the tempo pushing the ball up the court whether she takes it all the way herself or she finds an open teammate filling in the lanes.
