Dominique is poised for a strong senior season after transferring to Cardinal Mooney where she’ll face a challenging schedule alongside a talented roster with big goals and expectations. She’s already earned offers from Division I, II, and JUCO programs thanks to her length, mobility, and defensive presence. Last season, she averaged 7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game by consistently impacting the paint on both ends. With her long frame and improving touch around the rim, Dominique has the tools to be a difference-maker and a key contributor for a team looking to contend.

at the FABC Showcase could see the growth. In Boone’s case, it wasn’t just improvement — it was a return to the flashes she showed as a freshman at the ENG Tournament in Daytona. Over the summer and into the fall, she played with confidence and composure, displaying a smooth shooting touch, running the floor with purpose, and competing with an edge to her game. The senior forward also showcased her versatility — stretching the floor with range from behind the arc while anchoring the middle defensively. Her presence alone disrupted drives to the paint, and she consistently made plays on both ends. College coaches in attendance noticed the difference too. Boone was in “beast mode” Her energy, shot selection, and overall presence and confidence stood out. Boone got better and that could be all that Cardinal Mooney needs to get to Jacksonville at the end of the season.

Dominique’s game continues to see improvement which is promising to see as a player with so much height and length on her frame. Her back to the basket moves are looking better each time I see her, and she even showed the ability to hit the 15 footer in Gainesville. She has picked up offers from Mississippi College (D2) and Daytona State (JUCO) in the last couple months.

made a statement with her exceptional play at the showcase. Boone proved she could shoot the mid-range and also showed the ability to shoot from behind the arc in the flow of the game. Her energy and effort were also impressive. Boone runs the floor like a guard and showed she can finish in transition and can score off of offensive rebounds as well. She was active on both ends of the floor. Her shot blocking ability, her ability to deny the entry pass, and her physicality in the paint really showcased her versatility. Against top competition, Boone knocked down big shots, ran the floor, played with toughness, rebounded well and controlled the paint. To sum it up, she surged and had a breakout week. College offers are on the way.

makes opponents think twice about attacking the paint, as she excels at blocking shots with intensity and perfect timing. Her defensive IQ allows her to be in the right position on both the strong side and weak side. Even when she isn’t blocking shots, she’s forcing turnovers with her dominant defensive presence.

has faced tough competition this season at Tampa Catholic, which has only elevated her game and competitive nature. Boone has been the anchor for TC this year, both offensively and defensively. Offensively, she positions herself well for easy buckets, using her height and athleticism to score on defenders. Defensively, she excels at altering and blocking shots, with her presence alone making it difficult for opponents to score. She takes pride in protecting the rim and makes it known when she blocks a shot—nothing comes easy. Boone is currently averaging 7.0 PPG, 6.1 rebounds per game, 2.1 blocks, and 2.1 steals. She recorded a season-high seven-block game and has had several other games with three or more blocks.

Dominique showed her versatility against a stacked Bloomindale squad and did it with an edge. Dom attacked the basket and got to the free throw line regularly where she shot a good percentage. She even hit a clutch three pointer in the fourth quarter while fighting for every loose ball she could get her hands on. Defensively she altered and blocked shots in the paint, caused deflections that lead to steals and guarded multiple positions. The best part of Dominique’s game is she’s just scratching the surface of how good she can really be. Don’t let that smile fool you, she’s a killer.

stands at 6’3″, she has the versatility to score from more than just the post. She can handle the ball well enough in transition to go coast-to-coast, take defenders off the dribble, and get low to score at the rim. Boone also has a smooth jumper, capable of knocking down shots from both midrange and beyond the arc.
Not only does she beat defenders up the floor to score easy transition buckets, but she also takes pride in getting back on defense, where she defends the rim and paint as a top-notch shot blocker. Last year, Boone averaged 11.1 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game, 3.0 steals per game, and 2.6 blocks per game, proving she can do it all on the floor.
This year, Boone has transferred to Tampa Catholic, a team loaded with talent. However, that won’t stop her from putting up similar or even better numbers as they make their run for the 3A state championship, where they are one of the favorites to win.
