Elise Coleman Elise Coleman 6'0" | SF Floyd Central | 2026 State IN , a Western Kentucky commit, stood out in her matchup against Decatur Central. She plays the wing position exceptionally well for Floyd Central, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. In this contest, she defended effectively, rebounded with toughness, and contributed timely scoring opportunities for her team.

Coleman is off to a strong start in her senior season, and she looks like a great addition for the WKU women’s basketball program.

Elise has been “on the radar” since probably 8th Grade, but she had a strong Spring that carried into a nice June with her high school team, followed by some highlights throughout July that collectively have drawn her a lot more interest. She has always been a pure perimeter shooter who can scare opponents outside. However, the biggest change I’ve seen in her over the last few months is her physicality. She’s utilizing it defensively and on the boards, plus she’s driving it stronger and more aggressively to the rim.

Elise was very active in her team’s win Sunday afternoon, especially from the mid-post and in. She was aggressive off the bounce, getting to the basket and finishing, plus she did a nice job of changing directions in traffic. She was physical boxing out, plus she pursued rebounds outside of her area. She has always shown nice touch from the perimeter, but her willingness to contribute in several different ways makes her a much tougher matchup.
