About Ella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as fast, efficient, and confident. My midrange shot and 3-point shot are some of my strongest assets to my game. My defense on the other end of the floor causes problems as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to have the mentality of Kobe Bryant. If you aren’t in the gym getting better then someone else is. Also that if you put in more work over and over that work will bring you confidence in your game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in FCA and play the violin at my school. I am also in student council. I have received awards for my ACT score from WKU University.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the leadership role on my high school team due to a low amount of upperclassmen players. This has really helped me learn leadership and teamwork and how to fight through adversity when the going gets tough.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My last years High School Team lost two of our starters due to ACL injuries. These injuries really hurt our team but we fought through it all the whole season to make them proud. We ended up district champs and region runner ups.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a great culture, cares about family the most, fits my style of play, plays fast and hard defense, and cares more about their players then money.

Ella is one of the best shooters and recruits in Kentucky in any class! She drilled 86 threes at nearly 36 percent, scored 18.9 points per game, and knocked down almost 84 percent of her free throws. She competes with an elite motor every night. Bardstown has reached back-to-back 5th Region finals, and Ella will be the force driving them to take the next step this season!
