is doing a great job running the point for this very talented 16U 3SSB group. She plays with a lot of freedom and confidence, which allows her to truly showcase her skill set. What stands out most is her ability to balance scoring and playmaking she shoots the basketball at a high level while also being able to attack the rim effectively. That combination makes her a tough guard to defend, especially as a primary ball handler.
She continues to show growth in her decision-making and overall control of the game, which is exactly what you want out of a point guard leading a high-level team. Her ability to create her own shot while also getting her teammates involved adds a lot of value to her game.
Pendleton Heights is getting a very talented point guard who fits well with their program’s future. With the recent announcement that Pendleton will be playing in the Hall of Fame Classic, Ella will have even more opportunities to compete on a big stage. has been effectively running both the point guard and shooting guard positions for the Tigers—a challenging task that requires both distributing the ball and creating her own scoring opportunities. She is currently averaging 8.6 points per game along with 3 assists and is shooting an impressive 48% from beyond the arc. Those numbers are especially notable given the dual responsibilities she carries on the floor. In addition to her offensive contributions, Burleson brings energy and excitement with her defensive effort, consistently making plays that spark the team. Her ability to balance scoring, playmaking, and leadership makes her a key part of Fishers’ backcourt. As the season progresses, she is poised to continue being a significant offensive threat while guiding this young team toward success.

Ella was a dynamic combo-guard for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. She switched hands confidently and shielded the ball against pressure, causing defenders to foul. Ella dished a nice dump-off pass to the post for an assist and kept the forwards involved on offense. She made a great adjustment to catch a pass and used a quick spin move to score off two feet. Ella wasn’t afraid to pull it from beyond the arc. She buried a triple off the bounce in the slot and added an and-one three-pointer through contact on the wing. Ella pursued rebounds on both ends and scored a put-back. Her active defense caused deflections and created steals. She created space with her dribble and attacked downhill to drop in a floater.
