Elle plays for Kell (would have won the championship in the AAAA division if it weren’t for Kate Harpring) who just graduated Kennedy Deese and has several other high level prospects on their roster at her position. Because of this I had not seen Elle play prior to travel ball season. Her length and athleticism are ideal at nearly six feet tall with a long wing span. She also has the game to go along with her physical gifts. Her ability to slash to the basket and rebound the basketball while guarding five positions has earned her interest from several division one schools inside and out of the state of Georgia and she could easily pick up offers with solid performances at Elite Camps and a strong performance with Select Events in July.

Elle continued a stellar travel ball season with excellent performances over the course of four games at Lakepoint. She is a player who plays on a high school team loaded with college prospects at her position, so she is not someone I was very familiar with coming into the Spring and Summer. That changed quickly as she has been a force particularly inside, but equally effective on the rare occasion she steps out on the perimeter and looks for her shot. Sellers does not need plays ran for her offensively as she routinely grabs a handful of offensive rebounds per game resulting in 2-3 easy put backs for FBC ‘ last=’NextUp’]. She is an excellent slasher to the basket with rare quickness and explosiveness for her size. She is very effective scoring around the rim, but also possesses the skill to knockdown perimeter shots which she did multiple times. Sellars wingspan is another asset she has learned and is learning to utilize defensively blocking and altering shots. She showed the ability to guard four positions defensively over the course of the weekend as well. Her versatility and efficiency, along with her natural gifts and effort earned the interest of multiple college coaches at the event.

This event without question was the best that I have seen Elle play. With her size and skill the potential has always been there for Sellers, but she has been stuck behind a log jam of talented bigs at Kell High school limiting her time on the floor. Sellers came out like a player on a mission starting in game one where she caught the ball, ripped it through with authority, and attacked the basket with controlled aggression scoring multiple times in impressive fashion. Sellers also showed that she can consistently make shots from the perimeter to go along with her excellent slashing ability. Sellers did a good job on the boards and defensively, as well as getting out and sprinting to the rim on fast break opportunities for NextUp. Elle and Akudo Ojeme Akudo Ojeme 6'2" | C/PF/PF State GA have every good chemistry on the front line for that team and the two played well off each other whenever they shared the court.

Works the low block well as she is constantly moving and working to get open. Consistent, reliable finisher for her team. Took coaching well and made adjustments on the spot, to help her team in areas she normally does not play.
