We saw brief moments last Winter out of Ellie Friessen of Hinton High School. Friessen, the 6’0 CG, was only a Freshman for this group and whenever she could she tried to make a play on the floor. She was featured in 15 games while only working inside the three point line a majority of the time. Offensively, she didn’t take any shot behind the arc this Winter and her rebounding numbers kept up with her scoring numbers near the rim. Defensively, it was much of the same. Solid defense and decent rebound as a whole. Friessen is going to be featured much more moving forward within Hinton’s program so we will be able to see war she can really do. They are going to graduate a few of their key contributors so there will be chances for opportunities.

Hinton is a favored team to make a big run at the 2A State Title over the next three months following their Championship a year ago. A reason for this success isn’t just their system but their personal on hand. They return everyone from a year ago and they add note-worthy players like Ellie Friessen Ellie Friessen 6'0" | CG Hinton | 2029 IA . To my understanding, Ellie’s main sport is Volleyball, where she helped Hinton DOMINATE over the past six months but she is also a hooper that can get things done of the Basketball court at 6’0. Friessen not only have size, length, and natural skill here or there. She is also uber athletic for her height. She moves well getting down the floor and that early work within a possession is going to be a big to her success over the next few years.

Hinton High School is coming off of a 2A State Title run and they are going to return their main producers, while inviting in a few new others that will be able to help the cause. Someone out of their younger Class coming over and into the system is Ellie Friessen Ellie Friessen 6'0" | CG Hinton | 2029 IA . Friessen is a star Volleyball player with athletic ability and a lot of promise at 6’0. From my understanding, Volleyball may be Friessen’s best sport at this time but Basketball isn’t far behind. I expect Friessen to make a name for herself this Winter as the program tries to go back-to-back. A goal that is extremely challenging but it won’t be impossible for this group if they play their cards right.
