Emmi Bartolo Emmi Bartolo 5'5" | SG Bishop Garrigan | 2026 IA really showed out her last week of the season on the State’s biggest state as her team’s leading SG. Bartolo stepped up time and time again to him big shots or make big plays for her BG team throughout the week. Honestly, that’s been the case her whole career. We have seen Bartolo hit shots that matter ever since she was a Freshman so it’s nice to see that she finished things out with a bang when it mattered the most as of late. Bartolo knows the game of Basketball to a T. She is only going to continue to get better as she continues to play at the next level. With the right guidance and within the right system, who knows how good she could become over the next couple of seasons if she sticks with it into adulthood.

It was nice to see Bartolo do her thing on the State’s biggest stage this past week from the SG position. Bartolo has been one of those hoopers that we have listed as a knock-down shooters from most of her high school career. She has a quick trigger and she knows how to use it within her team’s offenses, depending what they are running. She is also someone good enough that she can put it on the floor and get to a more favorable spot if she is overplayed as a shooter. Bartolo was a MAJOR reason that her team had a shot at a State Title on Saturday evening. She played her heart out, left it all on the floor, and that’s something you have to respect from an outside perspective. I have no clue if Bartolo is locked in for college or what her plan is but if she isn’t, I’m sure there is a team or two out there that would love to use her efforts in the near future.

If BG is looking for a State Title run this Winter, players like Bartolo have to step up each game and there is no reason why shouldn’t at this point. Bartolo isn’t the tallest but don’t get it twisted, she can play. She knows how to play off of two feet on a consistent basis, she knows what works while trying to get others open around her, and she never seems to give up on a play down the stretch, showing her high motor and dedication to this craft. Like I said, BG could make some waves this Winter. They have all the pieces to the puzzle, now it’s just about putting it all together.
