Emmrey is an intriguing wing prospect who I think a lot of small colleges could be interested in. She has tremendous length, wiry strength, and she plays with a nice motor. She’s a good athlete in most directions, and she has a nice first step. When she was younger, she seemed to thrive more on attacking the basket and settling for open jumpers, but now she’s a much better rhythm shooter outside, and she almost needs to drive it more. She is noticeably stronger, more physical, and she is starting to rebound and defend different types of players better.

Emmrey could be a big-time contributor this year at Westfield, especially considering their heavy graduation losses. She is one of their most talented perimeter players, as she has a nice combination of length, wiry strength, speed, and quickness. She is capable of knocking down an open rhythm jumper outside, but she’s probably more effective attacking the basket. I also really like her intensity at the defensive end of the floor, as she can use her athletic ability and length to really bother opponents.
