About Finley
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Finley was one of the most versatile players in the entire building, and impacted the game in multiple ways. She stretches the floor as one of the best shooting forwards in the country by combining her size with excellent form and consistent rotation on her shot. Around the rim, Finley also showed really strong footwork which allowed her to create and finish effectively when operating in the paint.

Indiana-commit averaged 19.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Inside-out force with a lethal three-point shot. Has strong moves in the low post, able to score in a variety of ways. Faces up, scores with her back to the basket and has turnaround jumpers in her arsenal. Terrific polish. Entered high school highly touted and the blue chip prospect hasn’t disappointed.

Finley put together a very impressive year for River Ridge averaging 19.6 points per game on 42% shooting from the field. Most of her shots come outside of the paint and many of those are three point attempts, so the percentage is very good. Parker also showed her strength and improving physicality averaging 9.5 rebounds per game. In the games I saw her play this season (against good competition) Finley took a beating in the paint and dealt with it well getting to the free throw line and shooting a high percentage. Parker is one of the most highly sought after recruits in Georgia because of her size and skill, specifically that ability to shoot the ball from deep. She has had the luxury of playing with two division signees the first three seasons of her high school career. Both players had exceptional years and took a lot of the defensive attention and pressure off of Parker. In her final season, Parker should be the featured player and get more touches and scoring opportunities

Finley stood out with her smooth game and versatility on the offensive end. She finished creatively around the rim which was highlighted by a reverse layup, and she consistently stretched the floor with her ability to knock down threes from anywhere beyond the arc. Her midrange pull up jumper is especially tough to contest given her height and high release. She also showed a strong feel for the game by cutting in front of defenders for timely buckets and finding scoring opportunities without needing plays called for her.

Finley made her season debut, posting a cool 15 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block. The blue-chip prospect is a major mismatch with her inside-out game. She spaces the floor with her three-point shot and has developed a rugged interior game, able to score through contact with her back to the basket. Finley is one of the best prospects in the Southeast.

A skilled and physically gifted scorer, Parker combines perimeter shooting with strength and agility. She stops on a dime for pull-ups, executes eurosteps with precision, and scores through contact. Capable of posting up smaller defenders, she blends finesse with physicality in a well-rounded offensive game. Holds a slew of High Major offers.

showed valuable versatility, playing on the block or sliding out to the wing depending on the matchup. She worked well in the pick-and-roll game and made key plays as a back-side rebounder. Her ability to adapt gave her team flexibility on both ends.

Finley was a nightmare to guard and match up against as a versatile forward in the 2027 class. She has the benefit of playing at her age group with a Southeast All Stars program that has a ton of talent, so you can see her play against her peers and really impress. Finley was scoring at all three levels in the game I saw with a really smooth stroke from deep and mid-range. She can put the ball on the floor and use her strong frame to power through a defender and even hit a couple shots with a nice little fade from 10 feet or so. I also thought she did a good job of finding her teammates on offense and then having active hands on the defensive end.

Finley netted 22 points in a 91-64 win over Milton. At 6-foot-3, Parker’s compact shooting stroke and ease getting into her shot is impressive.
