Gracie is a really nice, athletic guard who shows flashes of really good play each time she takes the floor. She has the ball skill and understanding to play some point guard, and she can push it in transition and create, or she can act as a game manager in the half-court and run offense. At the same time, she is a capable shot-maker when open and in rhythm, she has a solid mid-range game, and she can get downhill and absorb contact when finishing. As she continues to make her game more consistent, look for her to have a big Junior season for the Bulldogs.

Gracie turned in an impressive performance at the Sophomore ID Camp for Team 5. She excelled as a facilitator, defender, shooter, ball-handler, rebounder, and finisher. Gracie was one of the most efficient shooters during drills and added a smooth wing three during 3v3. She moved her feet quickly to cut off drives, dished a perfect bounce pass for an assist after swiping the ball, and jumped up to make an athletic block. Gracie demonstrated IQ without the ball, moving to open space, and scored multiple layups off cuts. She cut backdoor, caught the pass with good hands, and converted the tough finish. Gracie fired a long pass in transition to an open teammate afters securing the defensive rebound and pushed the tempo. She absorbed contact and finished a strong layup off two feet. Gracie scored an offensive rebound put-back and shot the ball with excellent balance. She changed directions suddenly with an elusive double-crossover move and dished out an assist. Gracie dropped in a floater after a pocket dribble, drained a mid-range jumper in the corner, and buried a straightaway three off a crossover. She earned recognition as a Top Performer and was one of the most complete prospects in the gym.

Gracie has been a key piece for this Always 100 15U squad. She is a strong-for-her-age point guard who plays with a veteran’s savvy. She doesn’t get panicked by pressure, she can distribute the ball and get it to the open teammate, plus she is a capable shooter/scorer herself and can keep defenses honest. I feel like she’s one of those players who will always be steady and help her teams win because of it. She specifically helps keep this group calm.
