The energetic wing offers a jolt of energy that can’t be replicated. Barnes is shifty and absolutely loves getting downhill. Defenders will have a tough time stopping her from getting to her spots. She will quickly hit players with a misdirection dribble to throw them off and create some space. After penetrating the defense, Barnes has her eyes set on an easy layup or feeding a big after a defender has stepped up. On the defensive side of things, Gracyn is gutsy player that devotes herself to making plays on the ball. Gracyn is one of the more solid stars from her class. Barnes works well with others and can play effectively with or without the ball in her hands. She has valid ballhandling skills that are tailored towards efficiency rather than flashiness, although she does have a lethal step back move that she uses quite often. Barnes keeps it simple, but gets the job done for the most part. She’s exceptional at using screens and even runs off the re-screen if 221the first didn’t create enough action. After snaking or even splitting a screen, Barnes penetrates to a level that forces defenders to step up and she’s able to find open teammates in their spots. On defense, Gracyn is that frisky defender that disrupts ball handlers at the point of attack. Overall, Barnes is a tremendous talent that will have an improved upon season where she will be spotlighted this year,
