I can remember back to seeing Hallie during the Summer between her 8th Grade and Freshman year. She was an absolute blur then getting up and down the floor, and she has continued playing with that same outstanding motor. She is long, quick, fast, and athletic, but it’s her hard work that usually gives her an advantage each game…plus she is quietly tough-nosed as well. She has a solid handle, she can run the offense or create off the bounce, and she’s a consistent perimeter shooter. Lastly, she will defend with as much energy as anyone, she’ll make hustle plays, and she’ll rebound.

When her Always 100 team squared off against the top IGB group, it seemed like Hallie was on a mission. She was very aggressive to the basket, she looked a lot stronger, and she was absorbing contact better, but she also buried a couple of perimeter jumpers with a hand in her face. She is such a well-rounded, skillful, high IQ ballplayer, and she showed all of that yesterday. She also showed quick feet and hands at the defensive end. I feel like she certainly played up to her ranking, and she is an absolute steal at this point for a very good St. Francis program.

She plays with confidence and is effective in creating her own offense, whether spotting up or attacking off the dribble.

Her shooting ability forces defenses to stay honest, and when closeouts are aggressive, she has the quickness and control to get to the rim and finish. Hallie’s offensive versatility makes her a consistent threat and a key piece in her team’s scoring production.

As a senior, she continues to elevate her game and take on a leadership role. With her production and continued development, she is positioning herself as a strong candidate for recognition among Indiana’s top seniors, including potential Indiana All-Star consideration heading into the next season.

Her versatility allows her to slide between both guard spots comfortably, which makes her valuable in multiple lineups and situations. She plays with confidence offensively and has shown the ability to score from all three levels while also facilitating when needed. Schwieterman does a good job reading defenders, attacking gaps, and making quick decisions with the basketball.

What makes her dangerous heading into June ball is her ability to impact the game without forcing action. She understands pace, moves well without the basketball, and competes on the defensive end. Jay County will look to her for leadership and offensive production throughout the summer period, and she has the type of game that can continue climbing with strong performances against quality competition.

Hallie put together an outstanding Sophomore campaign, and she still has a lot of upside/potential left in her. She is extremely long, fluid/smooth, and athletic in most directions. Additionally, she is very balanced skillfully. She can handle the ball, initiate the offense, or create off the bounce and find open teammates. She can score it at the rim, knock down an open perimeter jumper, plus she is a versatile defender who is just starting to lock in at that end.
